KC Metro Challenger Football provides the unique opportunity for kids of all ages , with all types of mental and physical disabilities, to participate in the greatest team sport ever created. We pair handi-capable children with young adult mentors to enable both parties to learn the true meaning of “team sports”. Our league has grown from a meager 10 players in 2006 to a healthy average of 36 players each game in 2010. We add new players and mentors each and every season, providing an enriching experience for both.
The opportunity to play Challenger Football has been widely embraced by communities throughout the KC Metro area, including Blue Springs, Lees Summit, Independence, Overland Park, Olathe, and Shawnee Mission. Our communities provide the support but the players provide the action!
